A 1940’s watch from Germany with a Swiss movement. Working very well but needs to be used with care because of it’s vintage. Back then the watches were treasured and not strained like our modern watches. This Stabile brand watch is a all original era watch with comes with with hollow push pins to put in the strap. These came just after the wire lugs. The push-pins we know today are actually developed around the 1950’s. The diameter of the case is 34mm without the crown. The very classic hands are actualy blue steel. A process used in the past which showed craftsmanship and quality. Below the Bauhaus period “Stabila” logo there is the word “unzerbrechlich”, which is German for “unbreakable”. The whole watch is looking great, hardly used at all. This watch comes on a vintage not worn leather Nato strap. More watches on our other website at www.sometimeago.com.
