Universe car battery operated tin space toy box 1980 China

An earlier version of this cool space toy from China. Reference is ME089 with mystery action. The toy is fully functioning and rides unpredictable in all direction while the dome is lit in different moving colors as well. It comes in the original box which is like the toy in great condition. This toy is from the 1980’s and works on 2 large batteries / power cells. Inside the box are all pieces for support to fix it in place. The box (and toy) measures  about 25 cm or 10 inches wide.
