Desk Thermometer USA 1950 Tel-Tru

From the 1950’s a great condition Desk Thermometer in working order. It is a so called Tel-Tru (registered name) made in the USA. It also has the GS logo as well as writing at the bottom that says Germanow – Simon Co. Rochester N.Y. So it seem to be made by the Simon Company out of New York. Clean 1950’s design with beautiful red tin casing and black tin bottom with openings for the air to come in and be measured. Measurment in degrees Farenheit. Around the plastic crystal is a gloss chromium plated ring. The dial has only very minimal aging to give it an off-white look. The base measures roughly 7 cm (2,5 inch) in diameter. The dial measures 4 cm / 1,5 inches. Great vintage desk buddy!
