Small vintage globe made by Chad Valley Co. from England, type M.200. It is made of tin and hollow, spins around its axel. Made in the 1940 when every class room needed a large globe but they were still pretty expensive to have at home. So these quick reference desk globes were created. It was made in the period when various Countries had name discussion going like Siam / Thailand, Persia / Iran and Abyssinia / Ethiopia and Germany was undivided before the second world war. Shows vibrant colors and minimal signs of use and age on the globe or stand but overall in great condition and perfectly readable. With the stand it measures ca. 22. cm or 9 inches high. The globe has about a 12,5 cm or 5 inch diameter. Ready for your vintage desk and all your global dreams.
