Description

This cool early tool is a Belgium invention called the Rawlplug mechanical hammer drill. It is completely  made of metal with a saw like wooden handle. All complete and working. When rotating the handle it turns the drill bit with much force for about one round with a bang. This way you can make a hole to fit the rawlplug plug easily in various types of hard walls without using all your energy on a common hand drill. There are obvious signs of use and age, making this a beautiful piece of man tool history.  It measure ca. 40 cm or 16 inches long. Check out the video from the Tool Man himself (1990’s series with Tim Taylor).
