Faber Castell 387 GOTCO slide rule 1940 Germany Denmark

This is an 1940’s wooden Faber Castell 387 Rietz slide rule made in a small run for a company in Denmark called GOTCO from Copenhagen (København). It is a trade firm established in 1929 by Mr. Gommesen and Mr. Tøndering) about which little is known. This probably was advertisement piece or gift to the workers and clients. This slide rule is specially marked on the inside as well as on the cardboard container. The cursor is glass with metal which has several markings. On the top side it has the number 33 on the view side it has the q over the 2 hairlines and the d under 2 hairlines. On the bottom side is “AW faber no. 5”.
