Aprilia bicycle lamp bike light in box chrome 1960 Italy

Could not believe it when I found this beautiful headlight with the original box. Look how the brand is stamped into the see-through front making the light shine through it. Aprilia is a brand from Italy best known for the motorized vehicles like mopeds, quick scooters and fast motorcycles but in their early days they were into bicycles as well. This chromium front bicycle lamp was produced in Italy in the 1960’s. It is unused and shows no wear marks or corrosion. It comes in the original box that is all complete with just some storage marks on the sharp sides. The item measures ca. 3 1/2 inches or 9 cm wide, it fits snug in the box.
