Van Doorn electric medium size class room clock 1975 Holland

This metal rimmed 30 cm or 12 inch diameter clock is made by Van Doorn from Holland. A name well known for their clear designed clock found in most government building and schools. Cool piece of Dutch Industrial design! It is dated inside the movement as shown in one of the pictures (November 1975). It runs on 220 Volts. The clock can be hung over a wall plug / power outlet, or the electrical wire can be run through the top. It is now on an electric wire with European power plug, which is easily changeable or rerouted). The clock’s metal rim is original painted in an off white color and has minimal signs from use / storage. On the bottom it has a rod for quick time adjustment because these clocks never ran as precise as quartz or mechanical clocks. It runs well with a nice gradual movement off the hands and no loud sounds. Great eye catcher and talking piece for any large room with a vintage feel.
