Description

This is an original slightly used Hellem Coffee maker from ca. 1980 in the 6 cups size (6 Tasses). This sleek machine is a produce of France and uses  the thrust of overpressure through heating followed by under-pressure through cooling, you can see the video below for the exact procedure. The result is a very hot and cup of pleasant tasting medium strong coffee  without bitter or sediment. The glasses are made of highly heat resistant and very strong “Pyrex” glass. The rare original burner works on commonly available fire / cleaning spirit. The metal holder is made of chromium and has only small signs of age (some pitting I the chrome). It also has a metal stand to hold the upper part after brewing, which is mostly missing. The design is beautiful and the procedure a great show to look at (can be speeded up by heating already boiling water).
