Pocket slide rule Sun Hemmi 66 sleeve 1960 Japan

High quality Pocket slide rule by Hemmi from Japan. This is the model 66 Rietz from the 1960’s in bamboo. These pocket version is somewhat rare and seems to be aimed at the North-European market (later models were often co-branded in Holland at least). The Hemmi logo printed in the original leather signed sleeve. The chart on the back also features cm to inches and Kg to Lbs. The cursor is also printed with the Sun Hemmi logo. It measures 18 cm or 7 1/4 inches (to the Hemmie 74 being 15 cm or 6 inches) long. The slide rule and the slider are in great condition, hardly any signs of use and age.
