Nestler 24R Rietz 57cm 23″ long slide rule 1940 Germany

This is a beautiful large slide rule using the Rietz system. Due to the length it would be more accurate than the standard model 23R. I am guesstimating this one is from ca. 1940. Everything is complete, no cracks, chips or dings and in working condition and perfect very large glass cursor. There are some signs of age (darker spots) and from normal use (small scratches on back of slider). Overall in a good condition for it’s age. There are clear marks from storage on the corners of the original signed cardboard container (taped up (not by me) and 1 end missing).
