Alro HaTex Textile dealer Slide rule metal case 1950 Holland

This round slide rule is marked ALRO Syst HaTex, comes in it’s metal case with inner decal. Made in Holland in The Hague around 1950 after the patents were received, this is the 3rd and final version of the HaTex circular slide rule. HaTex stands for “Handelaren in Textiel” which translates to dealer in textiles…so a rare dealer aimed model in good working condition with signs of use and age (mostly yellowing). Noticeable is that the decal in the lid has “1010 Commercial” above it, which is original and indicates that this HaTex model was made so few that it did not get a dedicated decal.
