Faber Castell 2x Novo Duplex 2/83 and 62/83 slide rule in case 1960 Germany

Combination of 2 Novo Duplex slide rules by Faber Castell. The paperwork covers both the normal size 2/83 and the pocket 62/83 version. There is no dedicated manual to the 62/83 though. In the 1960’s these were amongst the best slide rules by Faber Castell, expended from their brother the 2/82 (and 62/82) . Both slide rules come in their original signed box and sleeve. The rules and cursors are in good condition and all complete. There is just a bit of yellowing on the pocket version which is often seen on the  models. The 2/83 also has a plastic inlay sheet. These large rules measures ca. 33 cm or 13 1/4 inches long. Both rules have the same design with reinforced steel end pieces.
