Description

High quality and rare early handmade piece by Märklin from Germany from a time that war was still OK and your rank mirrored your social status. These early Maerklin toy canons were quality made and could really fire. In this case it shot green peas, great to shoot your toy soldiers or those of the opposite party. This canon is all original and in working condition with some signs of wear and age, no rust. It is great with cast iron wheels and a nickel plated brass barrel. It has a total length of 10,5 cm. Marked Germany on 1 side in red and has the Märklin crest on the barrel.

See a nice video on one of the largest Märklin canons made, model 8057/17 (offered by Märklin between 1911 – 1921).
