Sun Hemmi 259D Mechanical Engineer slide rule manual NOS 1960 Japan

High quality Pocket slide rule by Hemmi from Japan. This is the model 259D for the Expert Mechanical Engineer from the late 1960’s in bamboo with ivoride cover. This version has metal reinforced ends and partial metal cursor. The Hemmi logo is embossed in the original leather sleeve. The slide rule is signed Hemmi and Odelco. The manual (English) covers the scales on this model. The rule is still in the plastic wrapper, still sealed which explains the green on the screws (that wipes off). It measures ca 32 cm or 13 inches long. The sleeve and slide rule are in new never used condition, hardly any signs of age, the manual has some signs of age and storage.
