Double 6 Domino set butterscotch bakelite handmade in box 1960 Holland

Great ca. 60 year old set of butterscotch yellow flecked bakelite (early hard plastic) domino stones in the original wooden box. Made around the 1960’s (or perhaps earlier). Manufacturer unknown but probably made in The Netherlands since it was for a Company in the Dutch Antilles and bought in Holland. The set consists of all 28 pieces with the highest stone being the double 6. All pieces are beautifully straight cast with a brass pin in the middle to minimalist scratches when spreader on a surface face down. Bakelite is very hard so it can be fragile but all pieces are accounted for and only 1 has a small chip on the front side so this will not affect game play. The eyes in this set are hand drilled which makes that they are not perfectly aligned. The hand made dove tail wood box has had various repairs but still functions well.
