This small and early collapsable stove is the Max Sievert SVEA No. 40. It is featured in their assortment from ca 1905 – 1940, this one is from around 1920-1930. It has the 3 pot holders, signed burner with flame spreader, the signed travel cap, signed fuel cap, signed air release spindel, spiritus cup with dimple and signature around the pump knob. Thank has the exploding Sievert-logo. Some of the text is hard to read and the centre “best stove in the world” is almost completely gone. It stands well on it stubby pot holder, all parts are moving, tank holds pressure, but it is not tested and sold as a collectors item / display piece. There are a lot of small dents in the tanks on the side and some bigger ones in the bottom (signed Aktiebol.Max Sievert). Do check the YouTube video I found below to see some of these vintage stoves working!
Disclaimer for this category:
All stoves and lanterns I sell are checked and described to my best knowledge. I test the functionality and condition of the parts and accessories. I most of the time do not test my items with fire due to the hassle of cleaning and of fluid removal. I sell these as a collectors item. Please contact me with all your questions and I can take extra pictures upon request.
If you want to be using them, make sure you know how they work and what maintenance / fluids / gaskets / tools etc they may need. I do not take responsibility for their correct functionality in your hands. If you are looking for a daily user or camping item, I advise you to buy a new item under guarantee and get instructions from the store. I can not give refunds for not working items in this category to non collectors / unknowledgeable buyers.
