Description

When hunting for stoves you sometimes find something else. A rare 16 cm or 6 1/2 inches high oil can, measured from bottom to the top of the wooden handle. Made by Optimus from Sweden some where in the 1920 – 1950 region. All parts are there, and original and the pump function seems to work, but selling as a display piece. The sprout can be adjust in every position and the spring is working. It is clearly marked Optimus No 130, made in Sweden and Oil Can. There are many small dents from use on the nicely patinated brass body. Nice addition to any Optimus stove collection or oil can collection (read the blog post).

If you want to be using them, make sure you know how they work and what maintenance / fluids / gaskets / tools etc they may need.
