This all stainless steel Seiko quartz chronograph is powered by the well known M159 movement with is operated by using the 2 small buttons on the front. Pressing the crown switches from time mode to chronograph mode. This movement type and modelrange was introduced in the mid 1970’s and was used in the James Bond film “The spy who loved me” and also worn by Steve Jobs. It was made in Japan and the sturdy case measures 35 mm wide including the original (unsigned) crown. The bracelet has the period correct SQ-buckle but the strap itself is not made by Seiko, perfect match though and will fit a large wrist up to 20 cm. The watch is fully functioning, received a new battery and is ready to go. There are signs from normal use and age all over..up to the next owner to wear it with history or get it to the Spa (not needed imho). Make sure to watch the attached youtube video on loads of vintage watch information.
Vintage watch guarantee and ideas on use: All vintage watches I sell are tested and working correct. When they needed service or adjustment this has been done by a professional watchmaker. I do not keep paperwork on every separate watch. I cannot give a long guarantee on vintage watches since it depends on how careful they are handled. Sometimes rough shipment can hurt them, no matter how well I package them. I will always take them back when there are problems upon receiving or in the first weeks of use. Please treat your vintage watch as a precious old timer car. Do not go out in the rain, play sports with them or take them on long holidays. Do buy a good watch box to keep them in and change your strap in time. Wear them for a few days at a time and change them out. Do not set the date when the hands are within a few hours before or after 12 o’ clock. Never use force, sent me an email if you are not sure on how to work your vintage watch.
