Aristo 0972 Hyperlog magnifier slide rule case box 1971 Germany

This Aristo 0972 slide rule comes in the original plastic container with yellow insert, control slip and even the outer box. The original box has LU written on it to indicate to the seller it is the version with magnifying glass (in German “Lupe”). Date code is 2LR1 so production year is 1971, of course in Germany. This model is the 0972 Hyperlog, one of the last designs to hit the market already feeling the heat from the electronic calculator. It has scales on the front and back with 2 clearly visible yellow lines on both sides of the slider. Curser and rule are complete and in good condition (some silver point loss on the cursor ends above the metal parts). Only some signs of use and age. The container is complete and in very good condition as well as is the outer box  (all complete, minimal storage signs). The rule measures ca. 37 cm or ca. 15 inches wide.
