Chess set Nürnberg Nuremberg bone tournament size in box 1900 Germany

Larger bone chess set from Germany in the Nuremberg style and in the original wooden chess.  This set was made around 1900 turned from pieces of bone, screwed together. Hand turend and hand carved and finally one side colored red. For their age they are in very good, hardly used condition. There is some glue used on the knights and I can find 3 small imperfections only. The king measures 8,5 cm or 3 1/2 inches high. Beautiful antique set in tournament size.
