€425.00
Ancre all stainless steel chronograph with Landeron 148 handwind movement, made in the 1970’s in Switzerland
1 in stock
A Swiss made chronograph in a larger (37,5 mm without crown or pushers) all stainless steel case. Inside ticks a well working and well known Landeron 148 handwind movement, keeping time and the 2 hands reset to zero nicely. This watch was made in the Chronograph Suisse style and received the generic brand name of “Ancre” on the dial, which was probably sold through several jewelers. The silver dial is clean and shows only under magnification an even patina. It and silver applied numerals and indexes that match the silver hands. The case is in very good shape with only small signs of normal use and age and stainless steel back as well. The lugs measure 18 mm apart and sport a new genuine leather racing strap. The plastic crystal is in very good condition as well and without scratches. This watch is all original and ready to wear on your special occasions. Make sure to watch the attached youtube video on loads of vintage watch information.
Vintage watch guarantee and ideas on use:
All vintage watches I sell are tested and working correct. When they needed service or adjustment this has been done by a professional watchmaker. I do not keep paperwork on every separate watch. I cannot give a long guarantee on vintage watches since it depends on how careful they are handled. Sometimes rough shipment can hurt them, no matter how well I package them. I will always take them back when there are problems upon receiving or in the first weeks of use. Please treat your vintage watch as a precious old timer car. Do not go out in the rain, play sports with them or take them on long holidays. Do buy a good watch box to keep them in and change your strap in time. Wear them for a few days at a time and change them out. Do not set the date when the hands are within a few hours before or after 12 o’ clock. Never use force, sent me an email if you are not sure on how to work your vintage watch.
