2x Lemezarugyar VW beetle friction car 1960 Hungary

An interesting set of 2 Lemezarugyar VW Beetles made in Hungary. These 2 Volkswagen are identical yet a little different They are different shades of yellow. One is marked Segélyszolgålat – Afit and is a bright yellow. The other is marked GAZ Serviz and a much darker yellow. Both are made of Plastic and so are the windows.  The bottom is made of black tin with a friction engine. The cars measure 13,5 cm or 5 1/4 inches long. These are in overall good original condition. There are only minimal signs of use, and there is a small nick in one window. Based on the production process I would estimate these to be made in the 1960’s. Check the attached youtube video for a great tin plate vintage toy car collection!
