AJA candy apple red metallic coffee grinder 1960 Norway

A very unusual all metal body coffee grinder from Norway. It is a light weight grinder in metal with a wood knob and rubber (still soft) base ring. The grinder acts as a shield for the plastic inner container that catches the ground coffee. It is fixed with haf a turn. The black top and candy apple red metallic body is spray painted so I am guesstimating 1960’s. These do not come up for sale very often so hard to say. The nut in the middle of the grinder axel can be moved down to set the coarseness. It has a 5 star burr so it can be set pretty fine but I do not think it grinds fine enough for espresso. It is in very good shape with hardly any wear from use but there are some small scuffs on the metal (specially on the black top). There is no rust and everything is working exactly as it should. The AJA logo decal is in great condition as well. This grinder measures about 23 cm or 9 1/4 inches high (bottom to top knob). Check out the video on how to use a vintage grinder.
