Description
This is a high quality all stainless steel micro-meter rule. Patented in the USA by the maker Alteneder & Sons from Philidelphia. It comes in the original mahogany case and with a small Allan key. It is functioning nicely and can be adjusted with the key. It measures ca 14 inches or 35 cm in length. The box has the text in the lid and is compete with working clasps. The rule is in very good condition with signs of normal use ( mostly on the plastic wheel). The box shows clear signs of use and age including heavy scratches and some rust on the clasps. Great piece of measuring history and still very usable today!
