Batori 23s computer for air navigation slide rule manual 1960 Switzerland USA

Interesting piece of Pilot navigator equipment from the 1960’s is the Batori 23(s). This Air Navigation slide rule was made for Batori from the USA in a time that there was a great need of flight navigation slide rules and there was a lot of competition and new ideas in that era. Batori constructed a metal double sided slide rule with an additional screw in the middle. This way it could be manipulated with one hand only. The original instruction booklet is in English, the beautiful leather sleeve is also embossed with the name in gold. Batori went for quality and had their rules constricted in Switzerland. The slide rule, manual and sleeve have hardly any signs of use and age and everything in overall very good condition. The slide rule measures only 10 cm or 4 inches in diameter.
