Description

A beautifull shaped and heavy wooden grinder by Bernhard (BeHa) from Germany. This is a grinder you do not see much and the name is not as well known but you can read some more on this great website about old coffee grinders by this brand. Filling beans through the top slider and the grind falls in the perfect fitted drawer. Here you also find the adjustment knob. The nickel plating on top reflects a little of the age of the machine, but considering the overall condition this machine did not have a hard life. On the back there is a seem in the wood that opens a bit and there is a small crack besides the drawer (not through and through). It is perfectly usable for a daily brew in your stove top Moka pot or a Durobor. This grinder measures about 24cm or 9 inches high (bottom to top knob). The insides are clean but a minor clean before use is always a good idea. Do watch the video on vintage grinder use and take some time to read our article on vintage coffee grinders.
