Vintage wooden box with 3 boards as well as the wooden chess checkers backgammon pieces needed to play all games. It is a 3 in 1 ca. 1940’s complete game box, all pieces accounted for and in very good to great condition. The 20 white and 20 black backgammon pieces double as checkers / draughts pieces. There are 16 dark brown chess pieces and 16 white chess pieces. Probably made in the Netherlands or in Germany. The height of the King is 7,5 cm or 3 inches. All pieces are very nicely carved and turned. The backgammon pieces have an embossed top. They are a great color and everything has a good vintage look as well.
The original wooden box is still strong and in good condition. It shows most of it’s age around the locking hook and on the backgammon board. The box measures 30 x 30 cm or 12 x 12 inches. The top has the 8×8 square chess board in good condition (some wear around the edges). The bottom has the 10 x 10 squares checkers board, again in good condition with some wear on the sides. On the inside is a great with red and white cones backgammon board. It is in good condition considering it is originally made of paper glued to the inside. It does show some of it’s age their but nothing to worry about during play.
