Set of chess pieces clock board Homas 1960 Netherlands

Set of vintage chess pieces in the style of Lardy from France, made under license by Homas. The chess board (with checkers on the revers side) is also marked Homas as well as the chess clock. Homas was a game factory and reseller based in Assen, the Netherlands. They made part of their wooden games themselves and other items were imported and rebranded, other items were custom ordere by other makers. All these items were sold by Homas in roughly the 1960’s. All pieces are in good vintage condition and ready to use. The staunton chess pieces are nicely lacquered, the height of the King is 7,3 cm or 3 1/8 inch and fit the straight board well. The chess clock (probably made by BHB from Germany) has an early plastic case with mechanical movement, is tested and works well.
