Chess set Staunton hand made wood tournament size France 1980

Vintage wooden chess pieces, hand made in France, in the Staunton Style for a Dutch brand called Longfield. Made ca. 1980 and it has very beefy knights with are sharply and beautifully cut. The light piece have a clear grain indication solid wood (probably boxwood). All pieces accounted for and in great condition. The height of the King is 7,4 cm or 2 7/8 inch. The king and queen have  a 3,2 cm or 1 1/4 inch base. Beautiful natural piece, non lacquered and showing hardly any signs of their age.
