Chess set Staunton type smaller K62 wood in box 1940 Netherlands

smaller wooden Staunton set, handmade and in the original red box. This set was made pre 1950 in the Netherlands. The dark pieces have a semi gloss paint finish, all pieces show minimal signs of use and age. No real imperfections, other then signs of the quality wood used. The king measures 6,2 cm or 2 1/2 inches high. The larger bases are 2,54 cm or 1 inch in diameter. Nice vintage small set in the original red card board box that is complete but has clear signs of age and use.
