Chess set tournament size wood in box 1960 Belgium

Larger wooden chess set from Belgium with French and English influences. Handmade and in the original wooden box. This set was made around 1960 turned from light wood. The dark pieces have a paint finish and all pieces are lacquered to a high gloss. There are hardly and signs of use and age. The king measures 7,8 cm or 3 1/4 inches high. The larger bases are 2,4 cm or 19/20 of an inch. Nice vintage set in tournament size.
