Coffee cup AM radio Solid State 138 in box 1970 Hong Kong

Here is an interesting find. A small AM radio from the 1970’s still with the original box. But it get’s better because it is shaped like an extra large coffee cup.  It is playing music well and pretty loud (batteries not included) but even silent it is a pleasure to look at! It is made for Solid State with type nr. 138 and a British registered design, made in Hong Kong. The snug fitting box measures 13 x 13 cm and 7,5 cm high or 5×5 inches and 3 inches high.
