The early quality lantern is by the famous Coleman brand and was made in Canada. It is the type 242-B Sport-Lite and was produced in 1938. It has the original handprinted globe (#550 when my research is correct) where the words Coleman and Pyrex can still be made out. Marked C and 3B around the logo. The green had has all it’s enamel apart from some burn loss around the small holes. The nickel plating can still be brought back to life (as shown in some places) but I leave it up to the new owner to restore it to their taste. The original nut on top shows some verdigris, some rust on the metal screws, great project Lantern. All complete and and all original. It measures about 27 cm or 11 inches high from bottom to top of lantern. Check the video to see some in-depth information on the vintage Coleman lanterns.
