Description

These Peugeot Coffee grinder from the 1950’s are hard to find on their own. I know, I have  been searching a long time for my blue one that you can find in the blog post on manly tools. I recently bought this cream color version. I first wondered if it might have been the common white or light yellow version but it is even in color in all places (including the inside and the cover places under the drawer. It is a fantastic machine with the setting for fine to coarse grind in the handle centre. It is working fine and looking good with most of it’s age showing on the fill cap. Which is in this model made of tin, like the entire body. (The blue one has a bakelite fill top). The combines of wood and tin only is rather unique for grinders. The sticker is very clear and the drawer is working fine. I really like the fact that the inside drawer is made of tin as well which makes the grind come out easily. It measures 12 cm / 4 3/4 inch wide and about 21 cm / 8,5 inch from bottom to the top of the knob. Great combination with an Italian Moka pot for your every day cup of slow coffee.
