DE Douwe Egberts Koffie Coffee grinder 1950 Holland

A nice Dutch coffee grinder probably made by Peter Dienes in Breukelen voor the Dutch Coffee Brand : Douwe Egberts Koffie (since 1753). This is a straight up square grinder to be hold between the knees with a nickel plated top. It is great to be used for grinder for a stove top Moka pot or for a Durobor. The wood is is in overall good condition with 2 small cracks at the drawer opening. The nickel plated top has almost no age spots. The grinding mechanism is ferm and working fine, it is clean as well. This grinder measures about 21,5 cm or 10 1/2  inches high (bottom to top knob).
