De La Rue Tusker EABL playing cards deck 1950 England Africa

Great piece of Tusker beer advertising is this deck of cards from the 1950’s. Tusker is being brewed since 1923 just after the owner died in an elephant hunt. It is from the EABL, the East African Breweries Ltd. The playing cards were printed in England by Thomas De La Rue before the introduction of the colored Joker in ca. 1955.  All cards are there, including just 1 Joker which was correct for the period. The box is complete but the small lid came of and there are 2 tears in the side. Very rare deck in standard size, good colors, small signs of use.
