This is the small camping stove by Desca a small company from Sachsen, in the East of Germany. The company produced stoves under the Tresor and Desca name. This particular stove is from the periode that Sachsen was part of the GDR/DDR / Eastern Germany after the Second World War and made before the Unification in 1989, guesstimating late 1970’s. It has a beautiful coat of original fire resistant paint which shows little signs of use. Some paint loss on the black wooden knob on front. This stove has been used very little all parts are turning well. Great colorful addition to any stove collection. The design with the alcohol container underneath has not changed since the 1930’s, as you can see below. It was also used by other manufacturers like Turm, also from Germany. This small metal with brass stove measures ca. 28 cm or ca. 11 inches from wood knob to the back (widest part).
