This is a rare and interesting vintage camera tripod, specially because it is missing the 3 legs. This one was meant to mount to a flat service, probably a vintage table! Very handy if you need to be filming an interview for instance and did not want to carry the bulky tripod around. This quality build model was made in Japan ca. 1970 and branded Triclamp! It also has a little elevator you can turn up and down by the side handle. So it got the name Elevator Triclamp that is on 2 place added to the item. The elevator can be fixed with the side screw. It als has a swivel head that turns and angels 90 degrees. Â The clamp is wide enough to be fixed to a strong mans fore arm and will also hold a piece of paper. And everything in between. Â The total height of this legless tripod is 23 cm or 9 inches in fully elevated position. Great condition and in good working order. Check out the video to see why you need a vintage tripod to best display your vintage camera!
