Beautiful Esso Petroleum can from the Netherlands, made ca, 1950. It holds 5 liters (or as stated on the can : 5 ltr). It measures 12 inches or 32 cm high. It is made of tin with grey cloudy white enamel and has a handle on top and on the lower back. It also has Dutch patent nr: 69589. the “Ned. Octr.” stands for “Nederlands Octrooinummer”. It is in an overall good used condition with a piece of enamel missing from the side as well as from the top. There are small chips missing from the bottom and some small signs of rust.
