Faber Castell 4/54 Darmstadt 57 cm 23″ slide rule 1943 Germany

This is a extra long slide 4/54 slide rule by Faber-Castell. It has an extra large cursors with 2 extra sides that work with the scales on the small sides of the rule. It has beens made extra long in order to make accurate calculations, the basic version is the 1/54 Darmstadt. It comes in the original cardboard case that is also marked 4/54 but the top is a replacement and has the number 4/87 on the small side. On the back it is marked 43 for 1943. Everything about the rule is complete, no cracks, chips or dings and in working condition with only some signs of use and age, mostly  some discoloration to the front white. This rule has a wooden base with 6 screws on the bottom for tightening.
