French Regency Chess set with King 7,7cm, made in the 1900’s in France

High quality wooden chess set made in France in French Regency style. Highly detailed pieces in close to current  Tournament size, All pieces made from light fruit wood with beautiful details and a mat finish but gloss lacquer finish for the horse heads on the knights. Pieces are of course all there, minimal imperfections only which are signs from normal use and age. The king size is 7,7 cm or 3 1/16 inches high, base measures ca. 2,5 cm or 1″ in diameter. They come in the original period correct wooden box (some pencil on them). This is a perfect set to use in your games with just the right amount of wear to show it’s a genuine vintage set.
