When hunting for stoves you sometimes find something else. Gustav Barthel is famous for it’s Juwel stoves, but the company also produced a great quality torch for soldering and paint removal. These were sold around 1910 – 1940. It is also has a brass gasoline tank that doubles as handle. On the back it has the pump for pressurizing the fuel. Quality heavy build but also detailed. The GB logo can be found on the torch head, the fuel cap (stuck), the brass tank and on the black pump knob. The pump is working but does not pressurize, the handle on the back of the burner does turn. Nice addition to any Barthel stove collection. Cool be made to function once again but sold as a display item.
