When hunting for stoves you sometimes find something else. Gustav Barthel is famous for it’s Juwel stoves, but the company also produced great quality torches for soldering and paint removal. These were sold around 1910 – 1940. It is also has a brass gasoline tank. Quality heavy build but also detailed. The Barthel name (and logo) can be found on the sides of the torch head, the fuel cap, the bakelite turning knob on the back of the head. The logo is of course also on the brass tank but even the decal is still on the tank which is also signed on the bottom. No dents, minimal white paint splatter. Nice addition to any Barthel stove collection. Cool be made to function once again but sold as a display item.
