This is the small E01 or E21 stove by Gustav Barthel as shown below in their 1928 catalog (pink), which states at the bottom they are also sold in enamel brown. This one was made in enamel brown in a small batch for a Dutch Company. Instead of the NORMA embossment on the burner and the logo plate below the tank, this one has the Dutch company name and logo embossed the shield. Probably sold on the Dutch market before the second world war or just after the war to hide the fact that it was actually a German product. Germans and German products were not very popular in The Netherlands after the occupation. There is no mention of the Gustav Barthel or Norma name or GB logo. It is in good condition, all parts are moving okay. There are some small dent in the tank and it is a but of centre but this is hard to notice. The brown enamel has a few chips around moving parts but is over 90% there. Not tested, sold as a display piece since I am sure only very few of these are left. Measures 37,5 cm or 15 inches from knob to tank. The first pictures is from a 1934 Dutch newspaper.
