This is the small E14 stove by Gustav Barthel as shown below in their 1934 catalog. But it is made in a small batch for a Dutch Company. Instead of the NORMA E14 embossment this one has the Dutch company name and logo embossed. Also the small instruction plate in front of the brass tank has been specially translated to Dutch. Probably used as a merchandise piece before the second world war or just after the war to hide the fact that it was actually a German product. Germans and German products were not very popular in The Netherlands after the occupation. There is no mention of the Gustav Barthel or Norma name or GB logo. It is in very good condition, all parts are moving okay. There is a bigger dent in one side of the tank only, some wear to the black paint and also some touch ups in various places. Not tested, sold as a display piece since I am sure only very few of these are left. Measures 27,5 cm or 11 inches from knob to tank.
