Unusual all stainless steel blue dial dive watch from Switzerland by IAXA, a small brand from Belgium. It is a quality Swiss 21 jewel automatic movement with date window and quick-set (going back and forward between 20 – 24 hours). This divers style watch was produced in the 1960’s. The case measures 36,5mm wide without the large original crown (missing logo). The crown has a screw-down function as well. The metal bezel can be rotated both ways. The strap is a new 18mm blue leather one (by Hirsh). It is tested, running and winding well and keeps time, date works. It case and bezel are in very good condition with only some normal signs of use and age, the dial has minimal signs of age, There is clear white luminous fill in hands and on dial that still works a little. Make sure to watch the attached youtube video on loads of vintage watch information.
Vintage watch guarantee and ideas on use:
All vintage watches I sell are tested and working correct. When they needed service or adjustment this has been done by a professional watchmaker. I do not keep paperwork on every separate watch. I cannot give a long guarantee on vintage watches since it depends on how careful they are handled. Sometimes rough shipment can hurt them, no matter how well I package them. I will always take them back when there are problems upon receiving or in the first weeks of use. Please treat your vintage watch as a precious old timer car. Do not go out in the rain, play sports with them or take them on long holidays. Do buy a good watch box to keep them in and change your strap in time. Wear them for a few days at a time and change them out. Do not set the date when the hands are within a few hours before or after 12 o’ clock. Never use force, sent me an email if you are not sure on how to work your vintage watch.
