Lardy staunton Chess set K82 tournament size 1930 France

High quality wooden chess set mad by Lardy from France. Tournament size pieces for made from sturdy box wood with beautiful detailed and a semi gloss lacquer finish. The knights are very detailed and even a bit larger than in most Lardy sets from this size.  Pieces are all there, with clear signs of use and age. The king size is 8,2 cm or 3 1/4 inches high, base measures ca. 3 cm or 1 1/4″. I took a picture of the pieces that stand out with small imperfections, smallest piece of knights mouth, cross from black king, side of pawn and small bend in king. The pieces only have a small amount of weight to them and the green on the bottom is not velt but a later replacement. They come in a period correct wooden box, but not original to this set. This is a perfect set to use in your games with just the right amount of wear to show it’s a genuine vintage set. Check out the YouTube video below on some vintage chess!
