High quality wooden chess set mad by Lardy from France. Normal size pieces for home use, made from sturdy wood with beautiful detailed and a high gloss laquer finish. Pieces are complete and in great condition with recognizable articulated Lardy knights with the hair up and the mouth open. Just some signs of normal use and age. The king size is 6,8 cm or 2 3/4 inches high, base measures ca. 2,5 cm or 1 “. They come in the original wooden box ca. 1950, sold by the Dutch company of Homas, known for their quality games.
