Here is a high quality early Melitta 101 aluminum filter holder. The Melitta brand is from Germany. The drip style coffee filter holder is to put directly on a coffee can or large cup. It is branded with the German coffee maker name Melitta and shows clear signs of use and age. It is completely made of aluminum with bakelite handle. It makes 2 – 5 normal cups of coffee (Americano) or it can fill a small Thermos. It is a system that requires a paper filter to hold the coffee grind.
